Why is networking good for me?
I can build up a name for myself and get known
For what I may get out of it is it worth it?
Yes, if I don't network I wont get jobs
What can I get out this?
At the best I can get jobs, but more importantly it's about building up contacts to have in the future
Am I doing this simply because I am being asked to?
No, I need to do it for myself to learn how to talk to people and give a good impression
What do I think I am not doing as far as networking?
I'm definitely not getting involved enough, I need to learn how to just talk to people and not be scared.
Do you think that in this kind of communication, language is a major barrier?
No I don't think so, luckily majority of professionals speak english.
